Tyna Majczuk
Tyna Majczuk always wanted to work in the field of arts. She graduated from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, with a Master's degree in Art & Heritage Conservation. ⠀
In 2016 she decided to create her designs by using a brush only. The spontaneous appearance of the traces during the momentum reflects her mindful approach to the here and now. ⠀
"Ichigo ichie" means "an extraordinary encounter" in Japanese. Shortly explained, this encounter is related to a sumi-e painting in which the relation between brush and ink builds a synergy by creating a unique event that leaves a mark. ⠀
In 2020, she launched her international performance project "Traces". ⠀
Traces is about connecting different people from all over the world with a unique tattoo. This authentic approach and the connection to "ichigo ichie" lays the foundation for her art. Tyna has been tattooing since 2011
