Kathi

Since she was young, Kathi has been drawn to artistic expression through drawing, dance, and storytelling. Her early love for movement shaped the way she observes the world, giving her a sensitivity to the emotions and energy that images can hold, which she carried into her design studies at MSD.

Over time this awareness found its way into her drawings. Through urban sketching, she began translating brief glances of everyday life into lines that balance boldness with subtlety. Her sketches remain intentionally unfinished, leaving room for what cannot be fully captured. Each stroke holds passing impressions and the quiet traces people leave behind.

Kathi moved to Berlin in 2024, continuing to refine her visual language. In spring of 2025, she began developing her tattoo practice at NOIA, discovering how her lines could extend beyond just paper. Her sketch-like marks follow the natural curves of the body, creating space for personal stories to move in their own direction, a practice she continues to explore..
