Kate apostolaki
Kate was born in Athens, Greece and moved to Berlin in 2020.
She was exposed to art and design at a very young age by her mother, an interior designer. When she finished school, she studied computer science for a few years and decided to be active in more creative paths and the art of tattooing.
Kate draws her inspiration from various sources, such as pop culture, architecture and fashion. She embraces minimalism in all of its forms, and she has a deep love for anything futuristic. Her mentor was a graphic designer, so her designs are primarily embodied through digital mediums.
Despite that, she considers the human body to be the ultimate form of expression for her work.
Kate defines her style by straight lines, geometric objects and bold, black shapes.
She often incorporates the human body in her art as an ode to its beauty and the endless forms of expression it can portray.
